The Kiddos

Dakota wasn't much into the jack-o-lantern's, but he just loved the pumpkins. He can spot them from the moving car a mile away. The day after Halloween he noticed that the pumpkin patch by our house didn't have pumpkins anymore. He said "pumpkin bye bye". I kept on telling him they were all gone.
One of his favorite things to do as I make dinner. He always asks for the "stool" so he can get up and see, and help me with what I am doing. He also loves to wash the dishes aka as playing in the water!

Dakota and Pepper just chillin' on the floor before bed. Dakota just loves to give her kisses on the head, and big bear hugs.

Trip to the Zoo's

They have two zoo's here in Chicago and we have been to both of them already, thanks to the library passes. Although one of the zoos is free everyday! The Brookfield Zoo was huge and we went to the dolphin show. It was so fun to see the dolphins jump and do tricks. I have never been to one before, and can only imagine what Sea World is like. I believe Dakota enjoyed it too. We even got splashed sitting 7 rows back!

The Lincoln Park Zoo (free zoo). The gorillas were just up and about. It looks as though I am carrying two monkeys on my shoulders! HA!

When we arrived at the Lincoln Park Zoo they were feeding the Seals. They did some tricks and swam around a bit.
