More Of Memorial Day

Of course we had to take of picture of this aircraft, it had Idaho on it.
Dakota just chilling in his stroller and taking in all the sights.

I just love seeing pictures of this kid. I can't believe he is already 6 months old. Crazy! Where has all the time gone. I am excited for what the next 6 months will bring.

How could you say no to that face!

Happy Birthday

Dakota is officially 6 months today. He got his very first half birthday present, an airplane from the airforce museum we visited twice this weekend.
Just what every little boy wants, all day playing with airplanes.

Alicia and Dakota in the cockpit of a fighterjet at the museum.

What a great way to spend memorial day . . . at memorial park.

Just Plain Adorable

Just wanted to post some cheesy pictures of our little boy. Enjoy!

He loves to play these drums, they play music and light up when hit. That is what made him do all the smiling above.

What a Relief

Dakota has been eating food for about a month and a half now. But he hadn't pooped for over 2 days and I was getting worried. I had feed him prunes, though it didn't seem to be working. So finally I went and got some children suppositories and gave them to him. He wasn't happy about it but when he finally pooped I am sure he was relieved, I know I was. Sorry for the gross content of the post, but I have never been so happy to have him poop and for me to be changing a big, stinky, poopy diaper. I thought it best not put any pictures with the post. :)

Grandparents

Grandpa Smith hanging with Dakota. Dakota's only thinking about those fingers.

Up close and personal with the camera

If you notice how long his hair is. Tharon had parted it down the middle, it was so funny. His hair looked like Curly from the three stooges!Pictures together before they left. We had fun and they were glad to be able to see Dakota again.

A three generation picture

Best Buds

So I woke up before him one morning and went to check on him and he had grabbed his monkey (still yet to be named) in the middle of the night. I originally had put the moneky in the corner of the crib, but he still managed to reach him. He was holding on tight. Dakota has really started to like his monkey. Thanks Mom!

Some more pictures with his monkey once he woke up. What a cheesy smile!

First Hair Cut

So this was Dakota before. It was really long on top and looked like a really bad comb-over. In this picture his hair is actually styled with gel to keep the curl in place.
Some after shots with the shorter hairdo
What a cutie pie!
