Dakota's Blessing

He was a good boy, slept during his blessing and thru church. It looks like he is folding his arms.

It was so fun to have my dad in town for Dakota's blessing. He got here late friday night, got home from the airport and then went to bed around 1 am. Slept in saturday morning, had homemade waffles and then went to the Temple to do sealing. It was my first time doing proxy sealings since getting married. That night we went to dinner @ Columbus Fish Market. They have really good seafood. Mmmm! That night was spent playing games late. Sunday we slept in, had breakfast and then left for church for Dakota's blessing. I am so grateful for family. We had dinner and spent the night at friends watching the superbowl. Too bad for the Cardinals. I have one more week until I have to return to work. I will be so sad when I have to leave him the whole day, I don't know what I will do.

Dakota has been getting really good at smiling. I have been trying to get a picture or video of it. Whenever I would bring the camera out he would be like a deer in the headlights. He evaded me for a while, but I finally got one and here it is. I was playing a game with him the other day and he kind of giggled/laughed slightly. It was so cute. That will have to wait until I can catch it on video. Stay tuned.

So we have been without internet for about a month, which is why we have been lacking in the post we have done. More will be on the way.
