What a Big Boy!

I am a little biased but I think Dakota is just the cutest little boy ever! But I am finding that he will not be a little boy for very much longer. He is just growing up so fast.
Here he is trying to wear daddy's hat.

This is the first attempt at feeding him rice cereal. He did ok. Dakota is doing much better now because more ends up in his mouth than on him.
Dakota is showing off how he can suck on his foot. He loves grabbing his feet and pulling them to his mouth. That is where every thing goes. We were in the process of changing his diaper when he grabbed his feet. Nothing slows him down.

Plush Quilt

So I finished making this quilt for Melanie and her newest little boy, William. I didn't get a chance to get a picture before because pretty much as soon as I finished making it I HAD to take it to her. I finally got some pictures and had to post because this is the first quilt (blanket) I ever made and thought it was just awesome. So does Mel! I have the fabric to make one for Dakota too, but I have some other projects that need to be done first.

Appreciation Dinner

So Tharon went to an appreciation dinner and had this caricature drawn. Very funny. Just thought I would share.

4 Month Check-up

So Dakota had his 4 month check-up today (a little late I know). He weights 16 lbs. and is 25 1/2 inches with a head of 16 3/4 in. He is supposedly in the 60-65 percentile. He did get his shots, and he did do better with them than his 2 month appointment. I gave him Tylenol about maybe 5 minutes before the shots. He didn't start crying until the second shot. By then there was only one more to go. He gave a good cry, got a little red in the face. It was his nap time so he was asleep before we got to the car.

Roll Over

So last week he rolled over onto his belly from his back, twice. And it so happened that I didn't see either of them. The first time I had him on this back in the front room and I went to his bedroom to get some clothes to change him and when I came back he was just mellow as can be laying on his belly. (He isn't mellow when he is on his belly) The second time I had just given him a bath, and before I went to clean up after it, I told him not to roll over. What does he do! He rolls over. Sad to say though he hasn't done it since.

Drool Monster

Here is the picture we took for Dakota's 4 month. Dad is trying to teach him to say "dada." No luck yet.
Dakota just loves his giraffe, as you can see.

I just love the drool trail on this one. Kind of like 'Lady and the Tramp' with there spaghetti. He recently started going after the tree also.
